Results of tests
Please ring after 3pm. Remember that the results of tests can only be given to the patient.
The practice offers a routine cervical smear service carried out by nursing staff. Please speak to a receptionist for details.
A computer recall system operates for childhood immunisation. Regular vaccination sessions are held in the practice.
Please give details of your holiday/travel plans to the receptionist. These will be passed to the practice nurse who will advise you of your requirements: information will be left at reception.
Contraceptive advice is available from the doctors. The practice nurse will offer routine checks to women using contraception.
Pregnancy and antenatal care
We operate a "shared care" system between the practice and local hospitals.
We perform a number of minor surgical procedures on the premises. Your doctor will advise you of these.
This clinic offers an annual review by the practice nurse, doctor, dietician and podiatrist for patients with diabetes.
Patients with particular needs
Our surgery is accessible to patients using a wheelchair. If you are unable to climb stairs, please let the reception staff know and appropriate arrangements will be made. Baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor in the toilet for disabled persons. We welcome mothers wishing to breastfeed in the practice premises.
For patients with hearing problems, we have a loop induction system.
We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English. Please let us know if you need this service when booking an appointment.
We have extended hours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings with appointments available outwith the normal consulting hours. Please ask at reception for details.
